Who is in Oak Class?

Class 3 is our Upper Key Stage 2 class, where the year 5 and 6 children are taught by Mrs Wise. We are lucky to be joined by Mrs Taylor and Mrs Davies throughout the week who support us with our learning!

Homework
Children in Oak Class are expected to read out loud to an adult at least 3 times per week at home. This should be evidenced in their reading record. It is also important that children are practicing their times tables at home regularly, with the recommendation being 4-5 times per week in short bursts. The children have logins for Times Tables Rock Stars to support them with their learning. Homework is set individually through target sheets, which are updated regularly and link directly to the learning targets for each child. This includes spelling words which should be used in children's work.

PE

PE in Oak class is every Thursday afternoon with Mr Wright. Occasionally, PE is split over Mondays and Thursdays but a reminder will go out when PE is on an additional day, via Class Dojo. Children should come to school in their PE kits on their PE days. Please refer to the uniform policy for correct PE kit.
