On this page are sight words for the week. If you feel you child needs to continue practising last weeks sight words that is fine, they are still available in last weeks folder. There are three groups if you need to know which set is for your child either check tapestry or email Mrs Martin on firstname.lastname@example.org
1. Now that you read the first 100 words, choose some of the sight words previously learned and focus on the spelling of these.

There are lots of different ways to practise sight words; using magnetic letters, writing on the ground using chalks, threading letter beads, locating in a book, colour code them (we use bingo dabbers). I have added some pictures of ideas we have used in class. Keep an eye out on tapestry for additional ideas .
