I have put together a pack of activities for children that will allow them to maintain some level of learning and progress whilst they are not at school.
As you will see below, there is a folder each for Year 5 and Year 6 children, which contains the bulk of the English, Maths and Science work that the children can access. These folders shall be updated as and when needed. Most of the work comes from the Twinkl website, and can be printed off and completed at home.
As well as this work, children can access the 'TTRockstars' website to continue their multiplication facts learning and revision. Children can also continue to work on the learning of the statutory word list words that are outlined for Year 5 and 6. The children need to know the spelling of these words, but should also be able to show that they can use them within context.
Of course, reading for pleasure should still encouraged as much as possible - keep collecting those minutes.
In the event of school closure, I should (technology allowing) be available through my normal school email address.
